December 29, 1932 - December 22, 2019
With sadness we share the passing of our mother, Hendrika Vink on December 22, 2019 at Chilliwack Hospice. Riek was born in Brabent, the Netherlands on December 29, 1932 and was the 7th of 9 children. She immigrated to Canada in 1957 and was married to Peter Vink on April 11, 1958. After farming in Abbotsford they bought their first farm in Chilliwack in 1963.
Hendrika was predeceased by her husband Peter in 2016 and is survived by her children Corry (Keith 2013), Diane and John, Peter and Janet, Darlene and Jim, Michelle and TJ and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mom worked hard on the farm and in the home and always had food and snacks ready if you stopped by for a visit, which was always appreciated. Her family was her greatest joy and treasure, a legacy that she has passed on to each one of us. We are so thankful for our Mom and how long we had her presence in our lives and we will miss her every day.

A celebration of life service was held on December 27, 2019 at Cornerstone Christian Reformed Church.
