Born in Bessarabia, Romania in 1925. Â Helmut passed away Jan. 29, 2006 at Kiwanis Care Home in North Vancouver surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Ruth of 55 years, brother Edwin (Adeline), and his five children, Rosemarie, Ernst (Mona), Ellenore (Gerry), Margaret & Linda (Darcy). Â Also survived by 10 grandchildren, Julie (Brian), Camilla, Gerhard, Rosalie, Jennifer, Daniel, Kurtis, Rigel, Julianne and Johnathan.
Predeceased by his parents, brothers Ernst and, Erwin and grandson Kenny.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kiwanis Care Home for their loving care. Â Thanks also to Dr. Sambor.
Funeral services were held on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 1:30 pm; Pastor Elmer Martin officiated. Â He was laid to rest at Little Mountain Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
