Helene Janzen passed away peacefully after a long illness on April 8, 2005 at the Menno Hospital, Abbotsford, B.C. She was born on June 4, 1901 on the Island of Chortiza, Ukraine.
We are very thankful for the caring staff at the Menno Hospital for the many years they served her faithfully.
She is survived by her two daughters, Helen (David) Reimer, and Elsie Dyck (Peter deceased) and their families.
A graveside service will be held on April 14, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. at the Greendale Cemetery on Watson Rd., Pastor Kerry Palmer officiating.
A Memorial service will be held on April 14, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Eden Mennonite Church, 46551 Chilliwack Central Rd., officiated by Pastor Kerry Palmer and Pastor George Groening. A fellowship luncheon and program will follow the service at the church.
