GROUETTE; Helene Marguerite
December 12, 1924 - July 17, 2016
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Helene Marguerite Grouette (nee Faucher). She was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba and passed away in her home in Cultus Lake, BC. She was married to Harold for 69 years, together they raised 7 children, Linda (Ed) of Victoria, Nancy of Aldergrove, Gloria (Darren) of Cultus Lake, Harley (Debby) of Del Bonita, AB, Ben (Karin) of Mission and Robert (Pat) of Midway. She is predeceased by her son Paul Alexander (1996). She leaves 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mom loved animals, music, flowers and going to the casino. She loved to cook and her bannock and pies will be greatly missed. She traveled extensively; her favourite place was New Orleans. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Schizophrenia Society of Chilliwack, in memory of Helene. The service will be held at the Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
