It is with the heaviest of hearts we share the passing of our Mother and our friend. Referred to as Lena, she was an inspiration to all that crossed paths. Born in Romania and coming to Canada with her family in 1929. Lena settled in Alberta and eventually moved to British Columbia.
Lena was married to George Knight who passed away in 1998. They had 3 sons; Danny (Elaine), Marvin (Vicky), William (Trudith), eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Lena is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her grandson Trevor Knight, and nieces Debbie Nill and Jean Bish.
Skilled at so many things, but her main passion was her family. She was a woman who never judged, was easy to forgive, and understood Unconditional Love.
Lena passed away at Agassiz Senior Care Home. The family extends their greatest gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Care Home. Thank you for being so kind to our Mother.
We all shall miss you Mom as you have touched so many hearts along your journey. Thank you for always being there, always understanding, listening, teaching, and especially for just being Mom.
Until we meet again, we will love you forever.
