Helen Wilgan passed away Aug. 29, 2003 at the age of 89 years.
Helen was born in North Dakota on Dec. 3, 1913 and has lived in this area since 1946. She worked on the farm for most of her life and then worked for many years at York Farms Cannery until retirement. Helen loved gardening and enjoyed her flowers.
Prayers will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003 at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, Sept. 5, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Eugenio Aloisio Celebrant.
She is survived by sons: Kenneth (Winnie) of Coquitlam, Ed (Inger) of Prince George; daughters: Jenny Sollinger of Bellingham, WA, Pauline (Peter) of Surrey, Minnie of Melfort, SK, Linda (Perry) of Delta; daughter-in-law : Anne Wilgan of Chilliwack; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother: Johnny Dueck of Winnipeg, MB.; sisters: Elsie Zachary of Sandy Lake, MB, and Stella Fedosenko of Surrey.
She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1999 and her son Bobby Michael Wilgan.
