Helen Reimer went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 18, 2011 at Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 89 years.
Born June 24, 1922 in the Ukraine along with her parents and sister Elsie; they immigrated to Canada in 1948. Her passions were many; but gardening and flowers were at the top of her list. As a member of Eden Mennonite Church she was involved in quilting and friendship groups. She was very devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Helen will be lovingly remembered by David of 57 years of marriage, sons Werner “Hank” (Erin) and Peter; grandchildren Tyler (Jennifer), Joshua, Michael (Sydney) and Cody; 3 great-grandchildren Damon, Kayden Presley & Cindy.
Helen, was sadly predeceased by her parents and sister Elsie. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Eden Mennonite Church. Pastor Rob Brown officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Helen Reimer’s name to:
