Peacefully passed away at home with her family by her side on January 28, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Abby, Sas. on November 29, 1933.
After the passing of her husband Ernie on January 26, 2002 Helen returned to Chilliwack where her children were raised.
She will be fondly missed by her children Craig Schindle (Sue), Ken (Nancy), Wendy Croizier (Steve), Cindy Clouse (Dave) and step-daughters Sherryll and Darla. Grandchildren Trina Griffiths (Trevor), Leon, Amber, Brittney, Mitchell and Brittlene. Great-grandchildren Kyra and Raven. She is survived by her sister Norma Munt, nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the Palliative Support Team of nurses and care aides that made our mother's passing one of compassion and dignity. Also, to Dr. Duplesis for her expertise and loving care she gave Helen during her battle with cancer.
