June 23, 1935 - July 27, 2018
An amazing mother/grandmother and a wonderful wife Helen was born to Muriel and James Archibald in Port Hope, ON. An elder sister to Andy (Delores) and Ken ((deceased) Claudette) she is survived by husband Brian and daughters Debbie (Paul) and Kelly (Kevin). Also Brian's children from his first marriage Geoff (Darlene) and Beth (Robin), grandchildren William, Nigel, (Debbie) Matthew, Stuart,(Geoff) Victoria (Beth) and Alicia (Kelly).
Also survived by several nieces and nephews and several "special" sons and daughters. Helen worked with Brian in their accounting office for 25 years when family duties took over her time. She looked after everybody else from the time she took over her father's house at the age of 13 until her death often forgetting about herself.
She hid her artistic talents except for a few occasions but her generosity was never ending. She will be sorely missed.
A gathering will be held on Saturday August 18 (sorry, we had to change the date) at the Eagles Club, 170 West 3 Street, North Van from 1:00 till 4:00. Extra parking will be at Presentation House to the west of the club. Please, no flowers but a donation to a charity of your choice in her memory will be appreciated.
