(Feb. 12, 1922 – Nov. 20, 2008)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother. Born in Rosenberg, Russia, Helen grew up in Tees, Alberta moving with her family to Yarrow, BC in 1942.
After marrying Earl Bragg, she moved to Chilliwack in 1952 and resided in Maple Ridge for the past 31 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Earl in 2005.
Helen is survived by her children: Garry (Colleen), Wayne (Marian), Charlotte (Warren) Wall, and Janice (Brian) DeLong; five grandchildren: Angela, Christine, Nicole, Jillian, Graham; and two sisters: Mary Schellenberg and Ann Kroeker.
All through her life Mom enjoyed crafts, enjoying many hours in her flower garden, and giving time to family and friends. She will be sorely missed but her spirit will be forever with us.
The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to all staff at Baillie House for their care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Maple Ridge Baptist Church, 22155 Lougheed Hwy., Maple Ridge, B.C.
In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
