Hazel Agnes Webb passed away in her 98th year at the Eden Care Centre on January 20, 2018. Hazel McKay was born in Earl Grey, Sask., and moved to Chilliwack in 1928. She met the love of her life, Harvey Webb, and they were married in 1941. During their 66 years together they enjoyed life by travelling in their RV, snowbirding in Desert Hot Springs, gardening, square dancing and spending many evenings playing cards with their friends and relatives.
Hazel is survived by daughter, Verna Harron, granddaughters Joanna (San Diego, California) and Janet (Mesa, Arizona), three great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
Hazel was predeceased by husband Harvey, son Ken, sisters Dorothy Chambers and Violet Spearman and brother Gerald McKay and sister-in-law Reita Johnson.
No funeral by previous request and a family graveside service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Eden Care Centre for their loving care for the past four years and the care at the Lynnwood Residence for six years prior to that.
Rest in peace, Mom.
