Eric passed away peacefully at home at the age of 96. He was born and raised in the Camp River area of Chilliwack and was the
youngest of three sons born to Henry John and E. Theresa Creber. He was predeceased by his brothers Roy, Harold, son-in-law Lloyd and Audrey, his wife of 62 years. Survived by three sons, Ron (Barb) Neil (Linda) Alan and daughter Anne. Grandsons, Eric, David and Jeff Creber; Scott, Stephen and Sheldon Girbav; Grandaughters' Chelsea, Chantel, Carey and Melissa Creber
and six great grandchildren. Eric was a proud WWII Veteran joining the RCAF in 1942. While on a short combat leave in 1943 he met his beloved Audrey in Brandon, Manitoba and were married in June 1946 settling in the post war VLA subdivision on Bernard Ave. He was employed for many years as a Machinist at C.R. Fortin and Sons. Later opening up his own machine shop on the Camp River family farm. Farming had always been in his blood and while he was working as a machinist, his wife and children were busy manning the farm crops, haying, corn, cucumbers and the beef cattle. He and Audrey did some travelling in their later years and one of those trips took them across Canada in 1995 to attend his 50th RCAF Squadron reunion.
