Gwendolyn Dorothy
Our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully after a brief illness, with her family at her side on Tuesday, May 29 at Cheam Village at the age of 86 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Nancy (Tom) of Maple Ridge, Debbie (Rolly) of Agassiz, Lori (Rob) of Quesnel, John (Carolyn) of Chilliwack, and Donna (Richard) of Maple Ridge; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 sister Muriel (Tom) Liggatt of Mission and many nieces and nephews. Gwen is predeceased by her husband John in 2008.
A Celebration of Life Service was held at 1:30 pm on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home. Inurnment to follow at Valleyview Cemetery, Agassiz. Memorial donations may be made in Gwen’s name to BC Alzheimer’s Society.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Cheam Village who took such good care of Gwen in her final days.
