Gwen Jeanette Senum passed away on March 22, 2004 at Chilliwack, BC at age 74 years. She was born in Calgary, Alta. on March 8, 1930.
Gwen is survived by her husband William (Bill); son, Rick, grandchildren, Cameron, Melissa and Jonathan; Cameron’s son, Aiden; son, Kerry (Brenda, Bren); daughter, Candace (Kerry), their children, Jordan, Taylor and Wesley.
Her mother and stepfather Margorie and Benjamin predeceased Gwen.
Gwen and Bill moved to Agassiz in 1990 and since then, have become an important part of this wonderful community. Gwen enjoyed floor curling, nickel bingo and cribbage. She was active in the Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She also became a welcome member of All Saints Anglican Church. Gwen also loved knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. Gwen was a fun-loving person who loved to laugh and do practical jokes.
Bill and Gwen would have been married 54 years on March 25, 2004. Their marriage was a wonderful loving example to all. She was first and foremost a wife and mother and her family was her pride and comfort. We will miss her very much.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Mar. 27, 2004 at 1:30 pm from St Anthony’s Church, 7237 Morrow Rd., Agassiz, with Reverend Albert McLane officiating. A Tea will follow the service at All Saints Anglican Church, 6904 Lougheed Hwy., Agassiz, BC.
