Grant was born in East Vancouver, August 21, 1956, the second of six children.  His passion for trucks began at the age of two.  This passion carried through his life and was the hub  of his career.

Grant’s strong work ethic was also evident from a young age he began delivering papers at 11 and then moved into the fish factory at 13. As a young adult his passion for fixing fast cars grew, and he could often be found drag racing in various areas of the city. He began driving semi trailers in his early 20’s and this carried through his entire working life in various forms.

Grant will be remembered for many passions; fishing, reading, the outdoors, music and most of all his family.  He dedicated many hours to coaching his children in various sports.  He loved his time at the river, camping, 4x4ing and building bonfires.

In his later years, his passion for music filled most of his time and he could be found at as many jam sessions he could manage.

Grant will forever be remembered for his loyalty and devotion to his family and friends.  And he will eternally be missed by all those who truly loved him.

God Bless.
