Late of Chilliwack, passed away August 22, 2002 at the age of 57 years. He was born August 12, 1945 in Saskatoon, Sask. Dale lived in the Chilliwack area since the fall of 1946. He loved fishing, camping, duck hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. One of his great joys was dealing with people.
A funeral service will be held at the chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2002 at 2 p.m. Rev. Harold Krahn officiating. Cremation, Valley Crematorium.
Dale is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharron; children, Steven (Sherri) Bamford of Chilliwack, Trevor (Barbra) Bamford of Chilliwack, and Lee-Anne (Derek) Loewen of Chilliwack; mother Anne Bamford of Chilliwack; sisters, Shirley (Paul) Klatik of Crooked River; Sask., Eileen McKellar of Chilliwack, and Pat (Gerry) Schile of Chilliwack; four grandchildren, Trent and Tyson Loewen, Joshua Bamford and Austin Bamford; mother-in-law Madelene McNabb; sister-in-law Eileen Watson; and numerous nieces, nephews, as well as many close family friends. He was predeceased by his father Wally.
Should family and friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C., the Lung Association, or the Surrey Memorial Hospital I.C.U.
