December 22, 1933 - April 5, 2020
Born in Donnelly, Alberta, Gloria received her desire and went quietly home to her Lord in her sleep. She is now united with her loving husband, Jake, her parents Frank and Bernice Huybens, her sister, Lorna Bourassa, and her brother, Darryl Huybens. She is survived by her daughters Barbara (Edward) Thornton and Charrin Gerbrandt, her grandchildren; Heather, Emily, Graham Thornton and Jessica Murray; her great-granddaughter, Lexi Murray.
Gloria was a member of Abbotsford Pentecostal Assembly and was well known for being the hub of a team of diligent knitters who made items for those in need both locally and abroad. Gloria had a gift for encouraging and bringing people together. She had a great sense of humour, a positive disposition, and was known for her faithfulness in prayer. She was a true blessing and will be lovingly remembered and missed by many family members and friends.
Due to the current Corona Virus situation a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
