Gladys was a lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4. She held many offices on the Executive of the Ladies Auxiliary. She volunteered in the kitchen, did years of helping with the catering for special occasions. She worked in the Poppy Room and she loved being the President, Past President and going to Conventions. She also loved her Legion family and friends. Every Friday and Saturday we could find her in her special chair having a beer, pulling tabs and playing Keno. Thank you to all her special friends: Harry, Sylvia, Ziggy, George, Marge, Betty, Eva, and Michael. She looked forward every week to seeing them.
Gladys also was the Hostess at Charleswood Catering Service for many years. She loved her “Girls Day Out” spent with her granddaughters, and forty years on the Foresters bus trips to Reno, where she was Queen of the Bus.
The family would like to thank Dr. Madill and the staff members of the Chilliwack General Hospital for their care and support.
