It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, Gisela Raposo.
Gisela passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 12 at the age of 82, with her children at her side.
Gisela was born on the island of Terceira, Azores and immigrated to Canada in 1961. After establishing her new home in Chilliwack she lovingly raised three children and had a long career in the food processing industry until her retirement in 1995.
Gisela was a lifelong member of the Roman Catholic Church and will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her faith. She will also be remembered for her love of family which was deep and unconditional. Gisela's kind and gentle nature touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Gisela is survived by her daughter Isabel, her sons James (Janice) and David (Lurline), and her grandchildren Cory, Talia, Tristan and Sean.
Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chilliwack.
She will be in our hearts always.
