Gervan Thomas LOUNSBURY

Gervan Thomas Lounsbury passed away in the Chilliwack General Hospital on June 6, 2006 at the age of 65 years. He was born in Brandon, Manitoba on November 7, 1940.

Gervan was a retired logger with a passion for truck driving. He loved baseball and enjoyed coaching his boys, spending time with his children and grandchildren was always special to him.

He was a very giving man in all ways and had a genuine love for his Saviour and all people.

Gervan is survived by his loving wife and best friend Ann of 41 years and their children; Rick Flemming, Buddy, Kathleen, Grant, Brett and Kyla, Angie Koczkur and grandchildren; Cassandra, Erin, Alex, Graeson, Olivia, Tyler and Shannon and many other extended family members with whom he loved.

He was predeceased by “Bud & Winnie” (parents), his son Gervan and grandson Owen.

Special thanks to Dr. Bester, Dr. Famm and all the nurses and staff at Chilliwack General Hospital.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 1:30 pm at the First Avenue Pentecostal Church with Pastor Martin officiating assisted by Sue Barker.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
