Jerry passed away peacefully on May 12, 2013 at Cascade Hospice, Chilliwack, BC.
Jerry was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Elisabeth (Bep).
He is survived by his loving family; sons: Johannus (John), Robertus (Rob); and daughter, Alida (Lidia); six grand-daughters and one grandson.
Jerry was born in Wilnis, the Netherlands on Sept. 7, 1929. He immigrated to Canada in 1954 and settled in Chilliwack in 1962. Jerry was a lifelong farmer, learner and lover of the outdoors. We would like to thank the staff and volunteers at the Cascade Hospice for their compassionate care.
Prayers to be held Thursday May 16, 2013 at 7 PM St. Mary’s Catholic church
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 11 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
