With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Gerry Hatson, wife and mother, on August 24, 2003 at the age of 75 years. She was born March 22, 1928 in Hodgeville, Sask.
She was predeceased by her parents, Edward Wright Grainger and Verna Lydia Grainger; as well as brothers, Eugene and Walter.
Gerry spent her youth and early adult years between Hodgeville, Regina, and Vancouver. As the wife of an RCAF member she had the opportunity to live in France, Ottawa, Calgary, Cold Lake, and Chilliwack. She has resided in Chilliwack since 1976.
Over the years Gerry enjoyed doing many different hobbies including painting, embroidery, crocheting, knitting (by hand and machine), and most recently was involved in tracing her family tree with the aid of her computer. She was a voracious reader.
She will be sadly missed by her family, husband Jim; daughters, Laurie (Charlie) Snow, and Brenda (Brad) Rendall; son Bud; six grandchildren, Chris Snow, Jeremy, Mathew and Michael Hatson, and Andrea and James Rendall.
Private family cremation followed by a memorial tea.
