Gerald Archibald O’Hagan passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010 at Apache Junction, Arizona at age 79 years. He was born September 17, 1930 at Strome, Alberta.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Shirley; daughters and their husbands Gail & Peter, Lynn & Stu, Coreen & Bill, Kathy & Mark; grandchildren Scotti, Jenny, Matt, Lorrie, Theresa, Valerie, Johnathan, Ezekiel, Aleksie; great-grandchildren Nethaneal, Krisalyn, Kalista; sisters Nora, Bunny, Joyce; Brothers Frank, Richard, Leo and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by parents Archibald & Minnie O’Hagan; sisters Isobel, Vera, Donna, Maureen; brothers Bill, Pat, Robert; nephews Robert O’Hagan and Robert Barnes.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 3, 2010 at 2:00 pm from Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Avenue, Chilliwack B.C.
Gerald served in Canadian Armed Forces for 32 years. He retired in 1983 as a Chief Warrant Officer. Gerald was a loving husband, father and friend. He loved fishing, the forest, camping and children. The beauty of creation was his refuge. He will be greatly missed.
