Gerald Michael Fraser, passed away peacefully in the presence of his son Jeff and daughter Nicole, on April 15, 2021 at Heritage Village in Chilliwack, BC.
Born on May 28, 1948 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, it didn't take long to learn that Gerry was a Jack Of All Trades! Although he passionately dove into all of his work adventures, Gerry spoke most fondly of his days as an Inventor, Butcher, and House Designer/Builder.
He enjoyed driving past the houses he designed that are still standing throughout Chilliwack today. Gerry loved sharing his many talents and hobbies such as woodworking, tinkering, fishing, and BBQing with his children and friends.
As children of a creative genius, we all enjoyed being in his presence and lending a helping hand as he brought his innovations to life.
Gerry was a charismatic soul. He loved socializing and openly welcomed anyone who had the privilege of meeting him into his life. His kind creative spirit and infectious laugh will not be forgotten. We would like to thank the amazing staff at Heritage Village who praised Gerry for his genuine compliments and happy nature.
He is lovingly remembered by his son Jeff (Alice), daughter Nicole (Adam), siblings Debbie, Kevin, Mary Jo, Sandra & Lynn, stepmother Roberta, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by daughter Christine, mother Hazel, stepfather Charles, father Sandy, sister Darnell, and brothers Pat & Gordon.
Gerry was privileged to have met the Lord. With passion and sparkles of joy in his eyes, Gerry shared his experience of the warmth of God's light to as many people that would listen. Finding peace in his soul, Gerry has finally been given the gift of reuniting with God, family and friends.
Dad we love you, you will be missed.
