After a brief illness, George T. Wallace passed away peacefully at age 76, on February 16, 2005 in Chilliwack. George was born on August 26, 1928 in Regina, Sask.
George will be very missed by all his family and friends. He is survived by his loving spouse Molly, of 26 years; his five stepchildren; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; his brother Orm (Elaine); sister Lorraine; two step-brothers, Ken (Janet), and Gary (Jacquie); his aunt Peggy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
George was predeceased by his mother Mary (Mamie); and stepfather Norm.
George was a veteran of the Canadian Air Force, and served some time in Germany. He moved to White Rock in 1963, followed by 10 years of employment with the postal service.
George and Molly moved to Chilliwack in 2001, where he was able to enjoy his passions of gardening and cooking, also sharing his skills with others.
