George Wiebe passed away in the Leamington Memorial Hospital on 28 Nov 04 while on a visit to Ontario. Born in Renate, BC on 25 July 1921, he lived near Keremous, BC and was a former resident of Princeton, Merrit and Chilliwack, BC.
Survived by wife Mary (nee Sippell), sister, Mary Koch of Castlegar, son Larry (Doreen) Wiebe, Grandchildern Christopher (Tara) Wiebe of Abbotsford, and Angela (Peter) Ball of Whitehorse, greatgrandchildern Maddison and Iain, nephews Grant (Karen) Kinney of Langley and Bryan (Ali) Kinney of Coquitlam, and Edna Deelstra, cherished friend, companion, and caregiver of Comber, Ontario.
George was predeceased by first wife Mary (nee Martens) and daugther Francis Kinney, brothers Henry and Ike of Grandforks, and sister Sarah Anderson of Salmon Arm.
Memorial services to be held at Valley Christian Ministries, 42415 Adams Road, Sardis (Greendale), BC at 2:00 pm, Thurs, 9 Nov 2004.
