George Henry Epp

George Henry Epp passed away peacefully in Chilliwack, BC on December 2, 2022 at age 93. George spent his early life in Yarrow, BC, graduated from Chilliwack Senior Secondary School, and attended UBC to launch his teaching career. He taught in elementary and secondary schools in BC, retiring at Rosedale Middle School. He was a cyclist and running enthusiast, coordinated the local school garden program, and initiated Chilliwack's Adopt-a-Road program. He also volunteered in church and community charitable organizations such as MCC, M2W2, IVCF, and DoorWay.
George is survived by his wife Adelaide, son Mark (Jennifer), daughter Annette Vogt (Brian), grandsons Anson Vogt, Brad Vogt, Landon Epp (Gillian), Levi Epp, and great granddaughter Rui Epp.
The Celebration of George's life will be on Jan.21, 2023 @ 1:30 pm at Sardis Community Church.
