George Angus "Mac" McCracken

On November 3, 2005, WOII George Angus McCracken (retired) was given his final posting. He leaves behind Eileen, his wife of many years, his three children, Garry (Karen), Lorraine (Al), Ian (Michele) and seven grandchildren, Craig, Scott, Jaime, Kyle, Bryce, Ryan and Lauren, his brother Stuart McCracken and very special friend Claudine Buchan.

Angus was born in Chicoutimi, Quebec, August 8, 1926. He spent 30 years serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, Royal Canadian Engineers; a proud Sapper. His postings took him to many bases in Canada, Europe and peacekeeping missions in the Middle East. He also belonged to the Shriner and Mason organizations.

A funeral Mass will be held at The Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2250 150 St. Surrey, B.C. on Tuesday, November 8th at 10:30am. After the Mass, Angus (Mac) asked that all his friends attend his "Wake" at the Royal Canadian Legion, Crescent branch #240, 2643 128th St. Surrey, B.C.
