Geoffrey Ronald Hjorleifson late of Chilliwack, born in Ipswich, England on July 21, 1921 passed away on February 17, 2003 at the age of 81.
Geoffrey served in the Canadian Army during the Second World War, and did active service in Italy, France and Germany. He was an engineer and received his Masters of Arts Degree from the University of Manitoba, and worked in the mining field for the federal government.
He loved fishing, golfing and supporting the Chilliwack Chiefs and Chilliwack Minor Hockey. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4.
