Gary Lindsay Wilson (77), passed away on April 2, 2020, from a stroke and cancer. Gary was born in Thunder Bay, ON. Gary was predeceased by parents Harvey (1980) and Cassie Wilson (2001), his sister Joan McComber (1992), his son Douglas Wilson (1974) and Great Grand-son Dayton McDonald-Orser (2008).
He is survived by his wife Sandra (MacKinnon) Wilson of 56 years, his daughter Denise McDonald and partner Jim Frizell his grandchildren Amanda, Clayton and Kaitlyn, and their partners, his great-grandsons DJ and Wesley, his sister Myrna, Poje, Cacovic, and Quirk families.
Gary was a Graduate of Sir Winston Churchill High school in 1961. He went on to be a Machine Designer for 30 years and then retired from Durand-Raute in 1993. Gary enjoyed listening to the blues, racing rally cars, and making beautiful wood pieces for his home.
He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
