Garry passed away Nov 1, 2021 in Chilliwack BC. Garry will be missed greatly by his wife Linda, daughter Kelli (David), son Alex (Bailley), granddaughter Sadie, along with his extended family and the many friends and teammates he made along the way. He was predeceased by his father Alexander, mother Eunice and son Jesse.
Garry was born in Kenora, Ontario and moved to BC in the early 70's but returned home often to spend time with friends and family on Lake of the Woods. Being a hockey goalie for over 60 years was one of the great joys of his life. Garry was one of a kind, a Habs fan for life with a sense of humor we won't soon forget. If you were to ask him, he would tell you his life was full of interesting experiences.
There will be a celebration for Garry at a later date when we can properly raise a Kokanee and cheer for him one last time.
