1927-2005
After a brief illness, Dick Graham passed away at Chilliwack General Hospital, July 31, 2005. He was born in Viking, Alta., April 12, 1927.
Predeceased by his loving wife Erla; parents, Emily and Allan Graham; sister Frances Speed; and brother Robert Graham.
He is survived by sister Dorothy and Eric Twigge of Calgary, Alta.; nieces and nephews, Carol, Richard, Allan, Debbie, Bruce, Lucille, and Robert.
Dick was well-known and respected as the proprietor of Graham’s Gifts of Chilliwack since 1970. Previously, he was a member of the Elks and the Royal Canadian Legion, and served in the Merchant Navy.
Known to staff, customers, sales representatives, and friends as “Mr. G.’’ the door ws always open, and coffee was always on.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005 at Henderson’s Funeral Home in Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
