After a long and courageous battle with cancer my Freddie passed away peacefully on February 14, 2009.

Born in Montreal, Quebec on November 17, 1947 Freddie is survived by the love of his life, his wife Carol, his beloved daughters Veronica (Matt) Marshall and Erica, his beautiful beloved grandchildren Meghan and Noah.

Survived by his three sisters Carol (Tom) McKenzie, Valerie (Gregor) Campbell, Jennifer (Duncan) Cotton and his brother Raymond (Lise) Pelletier, his nieces and nephews; Julia, Matthew, Laura, Melanie, Chris, Francois, Philip, Stefan and Karine. Freddie will be missed by all.

Freddie served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from January 1966 to February 1987. After Retirement he ran his parents apple orchard from 1987 to 1994. Freddie and his family moved to British Colombia, buying a home in Sardis. Freddie worked at MTF Finning express until late 2003.

I would like to thank Jodie Lippa for her kindness, concern and compassion, it was gratefully appreciated. Many thanks to Dr. Kevin Song, who treated Freddie during the stages of his cancer, trying numerous treatments.

I would also like to thank the nurses in Ambulatory care at the Chilliwack General Hospital for their kindness to Freddie. Thank you, Joy, Karen I., Karen T. and Allison.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2009, at 1:30 pm, from the Chapel at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave. Chilliwack, BC. If family and friends so desire, memorial donations to the Chilliwack General Hospital Pediatric Care Unit, c/o Fraser Health Foundation would be appreciated.
