It is with great sadness that we announce that Frederick Charles Boylan passed away peacefully at home in Chilliwack BC on February 28, 2022, with his beloved wife of 65 years, Isobel at his side.
Born July 15, 1934, in Aberdeen Scotland, Fred was predeceased by his mother Isabella and father Frederick.

After serving 16 years in the British Royal Air Force (RAF), Fred emigrated to Canada to start a new life with his family.
In Canada Fred tried his hand at a few different careers, the first at General Motors and finally with Prudential Financial. Fred loved soccer; coaching various teams, including the BC Canada Games teams to 2 gold medals, in 1977 and 1981.
After retirement to Chilliwack, he developed a keen interest in writing and performing in musical and comedy plays with his fellow 'Cottonwood Castoffs'.
