It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Royle, on Monday December 10, 2012 in Chilliwack General Hospital.

He was born in Manchester, England, in August 1934 and came to Canada in 1976 and was joined by with his wife and two daughters in 1977. He was a devoted husband and was married for 54 years and is survived by his wife Eunice; daughters: Judie (Andrew) Bumby and Sue (Jason Oke) Sandar; and six grandchildren.

He will be missed every minute of every day. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister.

His pleasure came from helping people, he was very kind and patient and enjoyed volunteering in the community and at Cheam Village. He was also a member of the Agassiz-Harrison Senior Peer Support group and was the founder of the Seniors & Teens Lunches and the Seniors Only lunches in Agassiz.

A private family ceremony will be held at McLean’s Funeral Services in Chilliwack and a Celebration of Life will be held on 22nd December, 2012 in the Royal Legion Hall, Highway 9, Agassiz, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

We thank Dr. Sean Larsen, family doctor, and Dr. James Bond, Head of Thoracic Surgery at Surrey Memorial Hospital, for all the years of excellent care. We would also like to thank the 5th Floor staff of Chilliwack General Hospital for all the care they gave him.
