Francis passed away December 11, 2020 at the age of 70. He was born March 2, 1950 in Chilliwack where he remained until his passing.
Francis started his career in the logging industry in 1971 with Cattermole Timber where he remained until his retirement in 2008.
This was his passion, shown through the many photos and adventures taken at his logging sites. Throughout his career he had the opportunity to explore many areas of our province including the North Island. His love of the great outdoors included camping, fishing, hunting and trapping.
He also had a passion for gardening, cooking and canning his own goods. Some of the fondest memories were him taking his family to explore some of the hidden gems he had discovered while working, including old trapping cabins, trails, and lakes in the back country.
Francis is predeceased by his father Walter. He is survived by his partner Barbara, mother Annabelle, brother Morley (Darlene), sister Lexi, sister Julie (Sandy), his daughters Karla (Dan) and Terri (Kyle), his step daughter Tammy (Darryl) and his grandchildren Brady (Autumn), Owen, Breanna, Kyle and many nieces and nephews.
