Frances Viola Mitchell

December 27, 1930 - November 17, 2019
The Mitchell family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Frances Viola Mitchell; beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.
Following a courageous battle with cancer, Fran passed away surrounded by family on November 17, 2019, at Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack.
Frances was born in Ruthilda, Saskatchewan to Alfred and Frances Elmgren. She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Nat, Arvid, Garnet, John, Bernice, and Mabel.
Fran will be lovingly remembered by her husband Don, son Lon (Dianne), grandchildren Adam, Kelsey, Jamie (Rachel), as well as her loving extended family and friends.
Fran was particularly devoted to her husband Don and took great pride in their beautiful and fulfilling marriage of 71 years. She attributed their success to not just loving one another, but also truly liking each other.
Fran will be remembered for her beauty, intelligence, infectious laugh and warm bear hugs. She epitomized goodness and unconditional love.

A memorial tea will be held Saturday, November 30, 2019, between 1 and 4pm at 45569 Newby Drive.
