Passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Cascade Lodge, Chilliwack, BC at age 99 years. She was born May 26, 1918 on the family farm in MacNutt, Saskatchewan.
Kay is survived by daughter Sharon (Joe) Jeroski, son Terry McKinnon, grandsons Michael (Erica) Jeroski , Brent(Cindy) Jeroski, great granddaughter, Carli Puskas, and sister Bernice Webster. She is predeceased by husband Norman B. McKinnon on October 21, 1989.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Chilliwack United Church, 45835 Spadina Ave., Chilliwack, BC.
Kay was a teacher for 43 years in Saskatchewan, Chilliwack, Kent District and at UBC and SFU. She was a member of the BC Primary Teachers Association, and founding organizer of their Provincial Conference.
She was an avid gardener, member of the Horticulture Society, an active member of Chilliwack United Church. As a devoted fan of Chilliwack hockey, you would always see Kay cheering on her team. She also found time to enjoy golf.
