It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Herb at almost 91 years of age.
Predeceased by stepson Gord Kingsnorth. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Iris; son Robert (Annette); stepson Arthur (Diane); 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great- great-grandchild as well as many beloved extended family members that Herb called his own, and dear friends.
Herb accomplished his dream of owning his own farm and was an avid farmer at heart. He was a dedicated and loving family man who had a passion for dancing and could really shake a leg. He was a caring and considerate man who would offer his hand to anyone in need and will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service was held on Friday August 28, 2009 at 2:00 pm at the Chilliwack United Church at 45835 Spadina Avenue in Chilliwack. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Herb may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
