Passed away on Christmas Day in Burnaby, Florence Caroline, nee Goodell, second daughter of Fredrick and Maude Goodell, nee Walker, and Ballam, pioneer Chilliwack families of the late 1880’s. Her husband, Olaf, passed away in 1992. She was greatly loved by her family.
She is survived by two daughters and one son, Dianne (Bill) Gilpin, Betty (Herbert) Rossic and Gordon Nelsen, all of Burnaby; also six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also survived by two sisters, May Allen, also Jessie Short of Chilliwack, and one brother Elmer D. Goodell of Kamloops.
Memorial Service held January 19, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at West Burnaby United Church. Interment in Chilliwack Cemeteries on Shannon Mountain.
