Following a brief illness, Evelyn died peacefully surrounded by her family at Chilliwack General Hospital on Sunday June 22, 2008.
Evelyn was born on May 1, 1919 on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia where she lived the majority of her life.
She leaves behind two daughters Carol Anne and Corinne, son-in-law Rupert, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Her life centered around her family and Christian faith. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services to take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 1300 hrs. at St. Mary’s Parish, 8909 Mary Street, Chilliwack.
