Evelyn Margaret Wurtz passed away on February 23, 2004 at MSA Hospital in Abbotsford, B C at age 84 years. She was born in Biggar, Sask. on December 5, 1919.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Carol (Craig) Soule, Val Hildebrand, and Cheri (Paul) Fritz; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Her husband, Irwin and son, Larry, predeceased her.
A Public Viewing will take place on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004 at 12 pm at First Avenue Church of God, 9210 Williams St., Chilliwack, BC. Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Nathan Hewitt officiating. Interment will take place at Chilliwack Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to B.C. Teen Challenge (Women’s Programs), in Evelyn’s name would be graciously accepted.
