Evelyn Redekopp passed away on Friday January 20, 2006 at Eden Intermediate Care Centre at the age of 87 years. She was born in Swan River, Manitoba on April 7, 1918. Evelyn is survived by her daughter Karen, her son, Brian and her brother, Victor. She was predeceased by her husband Alvin and her sister Violet.
Evelyn grew up in Norquay, Saskatchewan and moved to Chilliwack in 1949. She was a loving wife and mother and spent many years doing charity and volunteer work for the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Hospital Auxiliary and for animal welfare. Evelyn will be remembered for her unfailing kindness and ready smile.
Funeral services will be held on Friday January 27 at 10:00 am at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack, BC . Interment at Chilliwack Cemetery.
