Rene Peake of Chilliwack passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the age of 60.
She is survived by her husband, Wally; sons: Jordan and Caleb, sisters: Noel (Gary) and Jeanette (Ron), niece Niki and nephew Jessie.
Rene was born in 1952 in Richmond BC. She taught school in Ocean Falls and Merritt before settling in Chilliwack where she taught at McCammon and Sardis Elementary.
A Powa practice for the deceased was held Saturday June 9, 2012 at Dorjechang Buddhist Centre in Abbotsford and a memorial celebration was held Wednesday June 13, 2012 at Clayburn Community Hall.
