December 17, 1923 – September 21, 2020
Clayton passed away in his home on Chilliwack River Rd. on September 21, 2020 in his 97th year. He was born December 17, 1923, the third son of Elwood and Jane Muir Edmondson of Camp River.
Evan is survived by his wife (of 76 years), Velma (Ballam) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Early farm life led to employment on poultry and dairy farms then to successful career as an artificial insemination technician. Evan was well respected by the farming community receiving many awards and recognition for his dedicated work and service.
Playing the bagpipes with the Royal Canadian Legion Pipeband was Evan’s favourite pastime. Family and friends much enjoyed his playing at various events.
Evan was predeceased by his siblings : Leland, Gerald, Jean (Stanley), Marion (Harvey) and Audrey (Jenkins).
No normal funeral service is planned, however, Evan will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
