Eva Keith passed away on January 30, 2007 at the Waverly Care Home, Chilliwack, BC at age 105.
She was born September 6, 1901 in Little Downham, England.
Eva is survived by her son Donald (Magda), Chilliwack; one grandson, Alan (Heather), Kelowna; one granddaughter Jo-Ann (Darren) Vickers, one great grandson, Cooper Rancier, Garden Bay, BC and one sister Mildred Stewart, Chilliwack, BC.
She was predeceased by her husband Ariel in 1983, three sisters, Blanche Barrett, Beatrice Brown and Dorothy Jordan; four brothers, Bert Barrett, Ben Barrett, Bruce Barrett and Walter Barrett.
Eva, the eldest in a family of nine, came to Canada from England at age 13. The family settled in East Chilliwack. In 1929 she married Ariel Keith. They had one son.
Ariel and Eva owned and operated a dairy farm. She loved visiting with family and she loved her gardens. At age 97, she moved into the Waverly where she was active and alert until suffering a stroke one week before her passing. Many thanks to the staff at the Waverly for their excellent care.
