It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Dyble at Eden Care Centre, Chilliwack, BC on December 16, 2012 at age 96.

Eva was born in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta on April 22, 1916. She spent her younger days on the homestead until the Lewis family moved to Chilliwack in 1929. There she met Tom and they were married in 1935. Their first permanent home was at 14 Railway Ave, Chilliwack. She resided in Chilliwack, Except for nineteen years in various places in the Okanagan.

Eva is survived by her sister, Bette Keller (Art), her son, Ken (Ann) and her daughter, Shirley Bowman (Murray); grandchildren, Lisa Dyble (Eddie), Glen Dyble (Karen) and Leanne Bowman (Greg) and great grandchildren, Logan and Tarrah.

Eva was predeceased by her husband Tom and sisters, Lillian and Marion.

A Memorial service will be held on January 12, 2013 at 2:00pm in the Chapel at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Ave. Chilliwack; Reverend Willem van de Wall of Cooke’s Presbyterian Church officiating. Cremation.

Eva was a long time member of Rebekah Lodge.

We wish to express our deepest gratitude to the nursing staff at Eden Care Centre for the loving care offered to Eva in her two year stay. Many thanks to Dr. Paul Graham for his care of Eva.
