In Loving Memory ~
Eunice Spaner (McAnespie) was born in Winnipeg on March 5th 1953. She passed away suddenly March 10th 2022 at home in Chilliwack.
Eunice is survived by her husband Harry, her life's love of over 51 years, her sons Sean (Sandy), Jason, and Darren (Gabriella) along with six grandchildren, Karissa, Kaleb, Jordyn, Bailey, Noah and Lincoln.
She is also survived by her mother Adalla (Albert) and sister Heather (Dan) and an extensive family of nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
She was predeceased by her father Evan in September 2001 and her sister Amaryllis in July 2012.
Eunice was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Family was her mission in life and no one did it better. Family came first. She was delighted that her offspring all lived in Chilliwack allowing almost daily contact. She was always there for both family and friends with kind words and heartfelt advice to all who were drawn to her.
Although the only female in the house, Eunice would not be left behind. She enjoyed downhill skiing, target shooting, and loved to dance. She also loved to travel and could have lived in Playa del Carmen if not for leaving her family behind.
She developed a passion for golf. It was the only time she allowed her competitive nature to surface. And it did! She relished her yearly dream foursome golfing with her sons on Mother's Day. Game on!
Everyone close to her knew not to make plans for Christmas Eve as her culinary talents were on full display at the yearly festive banquet. She did however, bow to Colonel Sanders.
Eunice spent her life giving so there are no words to express how much we will all miss her. She touched many lives. We will remember. May she rest in peace.
