With saddened hearts we regret to announce the passing of Ernest (Ernie) at the age of 83.
Ernie was born in Lethbridge, Alberta. He worked for LaFarge Concrete for many years until his retirement in 1988. After retirement, he settled in Chilliwack. In earlier years he enjoyed fishing and a good game of cards. Later in life, he enjoyed his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Ernie will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, son Garry (Carol), daughters Chris (Bob), Linda (Kevin), Darlene (Phil); Son-in-law Alex; 10 grandchildren: Paul, Lisa, Tracy, Derek, Darren, Trevor, Jenna, Lacey, Kylan, and Shay; and two great grandchildren Audrey and Charlie. He was predeceased by his wife Katherine, his daughter Doreen, and two sisters, Helen and Esther.
There will be no service, by Ernie’s request.
His family appreciates the care he received from the staff at Heritage Village.
