Emma Mary Paron late of Chilliwack, passed away peacefully from the Chilliwack General Hospital on June 17, 2004 at the age of 75 years.
Emma will be sadly missed by her sons Dennis (Elaine) Paron of Seattle, Washington, and Daniel (Kathy) Burkhart of Golden Grove, California, as well as her grandchildren Alex and Amy Paron, and Ashley Burkhart.
She is also survived by her sisters; Velma Ferguson of Edson, Alberta, Rina (Fred) Flemming of Champion, Alberta and Ella Desrosiers, of Chilliwack and her brother Pacific (Edith) Paron of Calgary, Alberta.
She was predeceased by one sister Hilda Fairclough and five brothers Armando, Angelo, Ernest, Raymond, and Bill.
Emma enjoyed doing arts and crafts, gardening, and travelling. She had lived in Chilliwack for the last 10 years and was a member of the Senior Centre Group of Chilliwack and St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.
Prayer services will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 from St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow on Wednesday, June 23 at 10:00 AM from St. Mary’s with Father Eugenio Aloisio the Celebrant.
A reception in St. Mary’s Parish Hall will take place after the Mass.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
